I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank all of those who purchased New Horizon so far, and also to take advantage of this e-mail to talk about the latest and where the game stands.
It’s been a very exciting month and a half since launch. Not long ago, I was imploring some buyers to take a moment and leave their thoughts behind for other users, and potential buyers alike. Seriously, the money is not important! I enjoy being a part-time writer, it became a second profession for me. New Horizon was written in 5 months with me working 7 days a week at times, mostly during the PM hours of the evening and sometimes pulling all nighters too.
One of the things that nagged me the most during development, was the lack of attention I was giving my family. I wasn’t there 100% because I was working around the clock to deliver this book to you. To me it was important to keep writing frequently, because no matter how many notes I left aside, I feared the story would go cold. It was important to transmit the emotion I felt right there and then, not to lose track of the immersion.
During writing, I thought, what if I were to do this full time!? Then I realized something, there shall not be a greater book than New Horizon. I wanted to make it really special where it’s the work of a lifetime. After seeing Eric’s review at the sales page, I believe I achieved that goal.
This is just the beginning for New Horizon and its free supplements, which is another thing I enjoy doing very much. Writing free supplements is a great way to blow off steam and share crazy new ideas without you having to financially compromise. They are there for you to pick and choose, and not necessarily to convince anyone why they should or shouldn’t buy the core book.
Most importantly, there’s one huge battle being fought for your mind out there, it’s so real, not believing it would be shear ignorance. It’s always easy to turn around and walk away from problems. Delivering New Horizon to you, was a huge mountain-moving task. A lesser man would’ve been crushed by all the roadblocks the toxic mob puts in your way. Luckily I’ve managed to brush everything aside and just accept the situation for what it is. It’s been a long road to get where I am today, a road full of obstacles and challenges. But the sense of accomplishment is far greater than any of the negativism out there. Thanks to that, now you can experience a game 100% free of social pressure!
More great things are on the way, so stay tuned!
